LeBron James was required to don a mask during the Miami Heat’s defeat of the New York Knicks on Thursday after he had taken a whack to the face against Oklahoma City Thunder last week.
LeBron suffered a broken nose after being caught twice by the flailing limbs of Serge Ibaka as he made his way to the rim, and was forced to miss the game with the Chicago Bulls on Sunday as a result of the knock.
The reigning two-time MVP joked that he would need a Bane style mask to prevent the same thing happening again, but the face-wear he was given made him look more like Batman rather than a nemesis of the Caped Crusader.
Miami Heat teammate Chris Bosh certainly thought so, and the center decided to have a bit of fun with LeBron’s mask after beating the Knicks.
