Former NWO team member Scott Hall has caused controversy amongst wrestling fans following a Tweet he posted this morning.
The ex-WWE man posted a picture to the social media site which showed him standing alongside the now deceased Chris Benoit, and The Undertaker back in their wrestling hey-day.
But it was the accompanying comment that has riled some members of the wrestling community:
"Me, Dead Man and Taker..." he captioned the photo.
In 2007, Benoit committed suicide after murdering his wife and son.
Fans subsequently have questioned whether the post was in bad taste, and Hall was involved in a heated debate with several Twitter users today.
After comments such as "Not cool bro" and,
Hall responded...
The former wrester at first brushed off the incident as a joke and told followers to loosen up, before telling one commenter to "quit bitching," claiming Benoit would have taken it as a joke.
Hall was last seen in the then WWF in 2002 when he briefly made a comeback in a repackaged NWO team alongside Kevin Nash and Hulk Hogan but was fired by the organisation in the same year.
