Jhonas Enroth was surely not expecting to start tonight for the Buffalo Sabres but when he did, he made a terrific save to deny Patrick Marleu of the San Jose Sharks.

With the big trade deal that saw starting goalie Ryan Miller leave the Sabres tonight, Enroth was called on to help his side get the win and he didn't disappoint.

When the puck was passed inside to Marleu he unleashed a shot that looked destined to find the goal and BRING San Jose back level with Buffalo.

But a great windmill save from Enroth made sure that didn't happen and kept the score at 1-0.

The Sabres went on to win the match 4-2 on what has turned out to be an eventful day for Buffalo.
