Hulk Hogan made his return to the WWE this past week and now the wrestling legend has revealed that he would love to throw a punch at WrestleMania.

Hogan, who has been interviewed by WWE.com, will be the host of WrestleMania XXX and the superstar has insisted that he's honoured to be taking up the role.

However, despite the fact that he will only be hosting the event, Hogan has revealed that he would love to throw a punch and help the 'good guys' win.

WWE.com asked Hogan: Was there a part of you that was disappointed when you heard you’d be hosting WrestleMania 30? Were you hoping to get in the ring?

Hogan responded by saying: "Now listen, brother, now you’re trying to bring the ego out. [laughs] I try to keep the ego dormant. At this point, coming back here and being the host of WrestleMania is a huge honor.

Would I love to have a WrestleMania moment and walk down to the ring because one of the good guys were in trouble with somebody like Triple H and I "hulk up" and throw a punch and help the good guys win? Would I love to do that? Yes sir."

However Hogan has admitted that, despite feeling good physically, the knee and hip replacements as well as having had surgery on his back nine times, has taken its toll on his body.

He continued by saying: "But it’s to the point now where I feel really good physically — and this isn’t a woe-is-me statement, it’s just a fact — after two knee replacements and two hip replacements and nine back surgeries, I’m not going to go jumping off the top rope and drop the leg. You’ll never see that happen. But I’m really happy with being the host. It’s like a monstrous shot of adrenaline."

WWE fans will certainly be happy that Hogan is back in the industry with the countdown well and truly on for WrestleMania XXX.

The event, which will take place at Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana, will see the likes of The Undertaker and Brock Lesnar go head-to-head, with Batista and Randy Orton set to battle for the World Heavyweight title.
