Marcus Paige pulled off possibly the biggest defensive play in the previous quarter-century of North Carolina basketball against Notre Dame on Monday night.
With 3.1 seconds left and UNC up by two, Notre Dame drove towards the basket to try and force overtime.
When all looked certain for Notre Dame, Paige reached out and knocked the ball away ensuring their 12th consecutive victory, something they haven't achieved since the 1986-87 season.
There were some very last second claims for a penalty but the officials saw nothing wrong and allowed the time to expire and the send the crowd into a state of euphoria.
