Manchester United and Liverpool target Everton Ribiero has moved to end speculation over his future by insisting he is happy to remain in Brazil this summer.

The talented youngster has attracted interest from various European clubs in recent months thanks to his stellar performances in his home country.

Both Manchester United and Liverpool, along with Napoli have all been reportedly monitoring his progress ahead of a potential summer swoop.

However, the 24-year-old insists that, for now at least, he won't be switching clubs any time soon.

"The time for speculation is over," he told UOL.

It remains in either Manchester United or Liverpool's hands to force the issue if they want to make the deal happen in the summer.

He continued: "I am now focusing on my games and improving so everything works out."

According to the player's agent, a bid from a Premier League club was rejected, although it is unknown whether that was Manchester United or Liverpool.

According to reports in the Italian press, Napoli remain in the hunt for his signature and could move to beat both Premier League clubs to the punch.
