Today is more than just a Tuesday dear friends. To be fair, it may not even be a Tuesday where you are reading this.

If so, how is Wednesday working out? Any tips for us? And if it's still Monday, c'mon, catch up will you! It's all kicking off on Tuesday!

Ahem, anyway. Today is more than just a normal day. Because, as of today, there are exactly 100 days until the 2014 World Cup kicks off in Brazil.

Of course, what would an arbitrary milestone be without a deluge of vaguely related features?

We're here to add to the pile by coming up with our very own team of players who are in the form of their lives right now.

These men look capable of stealing the show at the World Cup given their form over the 2013/14 season. 

We've gone through's list of best players and picked out the most 'in-form' player in each position (that is, the player with the highest form rating) in Europe's top five leagues to produce a team of players in red hot form ahead of the biggest tournament in football.
