Benfica are set to make a summer move for Fenerbahce midfielder Salih Ucan, reports ABola

The 20-year-old, who has impressed in the Super Lig in recent time, has been linked with a number of clubs around Europe

Both Manchester United and Roma have been credited with interest in the player, but they may now have to battle Benfica for his signature. 

It appears that Benfica could bid as much as €8 million for the youngster in the summer window, and it remains to be seen as to whether Manchester United boss David Moyes will step up in his pursuit of the player. 

Manchester United fans will be hoping the club make a move for a central midfielder in the summer after a disappointing season so far. 

The Red Devils are currently sitting in seventh place in the Premier League and in great danger of missing out on Champions League qualification. Manchester United's immediate focus will turn to their clash with struggling West Brom this weekend.
