Chelsea may be top of the Premier League with 10 fixtures remaining for the majority of teams, but the west London club would have to relinquish their position of supremacy were goals scored by Englishman the only ones to count.

Opta Sports have produced a graphic of how the table would look with just English goalscorers, and Chelsea plummet from first to sixth in the altered standings.

Liverpool are the team to replace Chelsea at the Premier League’s summit, with numerous goals from Daniel Sturridge, Steven Gerrard and Jordan Henderson propelling Brendan Rodgers’ side into league winning position.
