Manchester United striker Robin van Persie is a doubt for his club's Premier League clash with West Brom this weekend, reports The Mirror.
The forward, who is currently with the Dutch national side, has been struck down with illness and missed training on Tuesday.
And, despite it remaining unclear as to whether Van Persie will play for his international side tonight, it now appears that there are some doubts over his availability for Saturday's clash.
If he isn't given the nod to play for Holland against France this evening, then David Moyes may have to look for an alternative ahead of his side's fixture at the Hawthorns.
Manchester United will be desperate to secure all three points this weekend as they look to climb the Premier League table. The Red Devils are in great danger of missing out on Champions League qualification as they sit a massive 12 points behind fourth place Manchester City.
And if Van Persie is set to sit out of this weekend's clash, then Manchester United fans will be hoping the likes of Wayne Rooney, Juan Mata and Adnan Januzaj start on Saturday.
