Adrian Peterson has effectively given a vote of no confidence in current QB Christian Ponder.

The captain and record breaking running back for the Minnesota Vikings has obviously seen enough of what Ponder can do and has publicly backed another QB.

Soon to be free agent, Michael Vick, is the solution according to AP.

Earlier this evening he tweeted out that adding Vick to the Vikings would make them a playoff team.

Vick is a few days away from being released by the Philadelphia Eagles since losing his starting place to Nick Foles after an injury and being unable to shift him.

There was rumour that Vick could be cut and resigned as a backup but the Eagles have put paid to that idea.

Vick is looking for another team and is thankful for the opportunity given to him by the Eagles after his personal history and prison time.

Vick is an experienced and athletically dynamic QB on the free agency but his increasing age and ability to stay fit is a worry for any potential team.
