Neymar makes tiny pitch invader's day

Pitch invader episodes are usually comedic or condemned, not heartwarming, but Neymar last night made one pitch invader feel like the luckiest boy alive.

Brazil had just thrashed South Africa 5-0 in Johannesburg and Neymar bagged a hat-trick, so he was obviously in a good mood because what followed was one of the nicest things you are likely to see on a football pitch.

As they players mingled after the final whistle a young boy was spotted doing his own little pitch invasion and was going to be led away by security before the Barcelona star stepped in.

Neymar ran over to the stewards and picked the boy up before getting the rest of the Brazil side to give him the bumps, much to the delight of the watching crowd.

The young South Africa fan then had his picture taken with Neymar and the photographer was none other than Chelsea's David Luiz.

After the game Neymar took to Instagram and put up a picture collage with the comment "Nothing better than making a child smile".

Best. Pitch invasion. Ever.
