Their rematch doesn't get underway until May 31 but George Groves has wasted little time in criticising Carl Froch... by suggesting he spits his dummy out when threatened.
Earlier this week, it was confirmed that Wembley will host the second bout between the two rivals following November's fight, when Froch retained his WBA and IBF super-middleweight titles in controversial circumstances.
The ninth-round stoppage of Groves - who didn't seem to be in too much trouble - brought an end to an entertaining fight but following confirmation of the Wembley bout, Groves is content on ruffling a few feathers.
"I love having a little verbal spat with Carl because when he is threatened he spits out his dummy," he told Sky Sports' Ringside Toe 2 Toe podcast.
"He stops making sense, he starts contradicting himself and he starts relying on cliches and pre-rehearsed scripts.
"He's not proactive, he's not even reactive. He's just set in his ways and for him a verbal battle must be soul-destroying.
"If I was Carl I wouldn't be looking forward to any confrontation with me - especially the ones that don't have gloves in!"
After flooring the 36-year-old boxer in the first round, Groves looked at ease in the previous fight and many were left puzzled following the contentious decision by referee Howard Foster to stop the battle.
With the promotional tour starting next week, the 25-year-old has wasted no time in criticising Froch and beginning the war of words.
