Manchester United defender Michael Keane has joined Blackburn Rovers on loan until the end of the season.
The 21-year-old has been allowed to leave Manchester United on a temporary basis as he is yet to cement a place in David Moyes' first team plans.
Keane, who enjoyed a loan spell at Leicester City last season and spent three months at Derby County at the beginning of the current campaign, has made just three appearances for Manchester United since signing a professional deal with the Premier League champions in 2011.
The England Under-21 defender is yet to play in the Premier League as all three of his appearances have been in the Capital One Cup.
Keane, whose twin brother Will is also currently out on loan in the Championship from Manchester United, will be hoping he can impress Moyes by breaking into Blackburn's first team.
The Blackburn new-boy, who wants to 'hit the ground running' at the Lancashire outfit will wear the number 16 shirt at Ewood Park.
