Former Scotland winger Kenny Logan is confident his country can continue their recent Six Nations form and defeat France at Murrayfield on the weekend.
After back-to-back losses in their opening two fixtures which saw them score a measly six points, Scotland defeated Italy in their latest Six Nations outing with a thrilling 21-20 victory.
As they prepare to welcome France on Saturday, Logan - capped 70 times by the nation - is confident that Scotland can secure a vital win.
"Last week I would have said no before the Italy game but I think we can beat them," he said. "France don't travel well and they played against Wales and they weren't great.
"I think we've got a chance of beating them- maybe by a drop-goal or one point.
Following on from the impressive victory against Italy, Logan has drawn on comparisons from his career and believes that Scotland can kick-on and put in a string of victories.
"They need to take confidence from last week," he added. "I remember paying with Scotland and we had gone through five or six defeats, and then we played Canada and we smashed them.
"It was the first win in eight games and we went on to win six games and a Grand Slam against England.
"You need the confidence to win and once that comes it's amazing what it does to the squad and the coaches."
Kenny Logan was speaking exclusively at an event hosted by QBE, official insurance partner of England Rugby.
