Carmelo Anthony is rumored to be on his way out of the New York Knicks at the end of the season and he has been linked with practically every team in the NBA.

Now that statement may be a little far fetched but it's true that there are a lot of teams interested in Carmelo and now finally it's seems that the Knicks may be resigned to losing him.

Although it's incredibly unlikely that Anthony will find a ball club that is willing to pay him more than the Knicks, there are still plenty of suitors set to be chasing his signature.

According to ESPN’s Brian Windhorst there is a worry within the Knicks camp that Anthony may not return beyond this season.

"After months of projecting a confident stance that Anthony would remain with the team into the future, doubts have crept into the front office and the prospect of Anthony leaving this summer has become worrisome, according to league sources."

The Knicks certainly have the advantage in the money stakes over teams such as the Miami Heat, Chicago Bulls and the LA Lakers, but things are a about to get interesting this off-season as Carmelo searches for that elusive NBA title ring.
