Manchester United are keeping tabs on highly-rated Fenerbahce star Salih Ucan, according to Turkish coach Muhsin Ertugral, reports the Sunday People.

The 20-year-old midfielder - who has just broken into the senior national team - has turned in a series of scintillating performances for the Turkish Super Lig giants this season, prompting admiring glances from the Premier League champions.

Red Devils boss David Moyes is eager to strengthen his creative midfield department during the summer, and has set his sights on a bid to bring Ucan to Old Trafford.

“I have heard United are keeping tabs on Ucan,” confirmed Ertugral.

Ucan has made 11 first-team appearances for Ersun Yanal's side in 2013/14 and is understood to have a valuation of around £7million.

Moyes is drawing up a comprehensive list of potential targets when the transfer window reopens at the end of the season, and the Turkey international is believed to be among the leading contenders for a Manchester United switch this summer.
