Tiger Woods hasn't had the best of times on his attempt to get back to the top of the golfing world.

The current world number one has had a few bad rounds recently and has sighted various injury troubles as the cause of his poor.

However, it seems that hitting a tee shot straight into the face of a spectator isn't going to help your scorecard either. And that's exactly what Woods did this weekend.

During his round of 78 on the final day of the WGC-Cadillac Championship in Miami, Woods wasn't on his game and it showed when he hit his first shot of the day straight onto the head of a fan beside the fairway.

The unlucky punter was left looking dazed and bloodied by the hit with blood running from his head down his face.

The 38-year old finished the tournament tied for 25th place, a bitter disappointment after a third round 66 put him in contention of winning the tournament before his awful final round during which Woods complained of backache.

It can't have been as bad as the injury suffered by Woods' fan however, who left the Miami course with a signed glove courtesy of his attacker.

Lets hope that softened the blow.
