Right-wing: Cristiano Ronaldo

Football News

Cristiano Ronaldo has only won the Champions League on one occasion - but you suspect it won’t be too much longer before the prolific forward helps Real Madrid finally secure the fabled ‘La Decima’.

The Portuguese superstar is the third highest goalscorer in Champions League history - with 62 goals from 97 appearances with Manchester United and Real Madrid - and has lit up the competitions on countless occasions since 2003.

Ronaldo plays mostly from the left these days, but for the purposes of fitting him into this team - and the fact he played most of his football from the right at Old Trafford - he must occupy the right-wing position in this XI.
