Milwaukee Brewers Spring Training stray Hank finds new home

Football News

As Spring Training started for the Milwaukee Brewers, a mascot was adopted.

Hank, named after team legend Hank Aaron became an immediate hit with the players, the team, and the Internet.

After walking in to the training camp in Arizona as a stray, he was donned in team colours and efforts were made to reunite him with his owners and with local animal protection services.

No owners have been found but the local services were so happy with the way that the team took him under their wing, treating him at a vets and looking after the pooch that they found the best new home for him… Milwaukee.

Yes this tale of a dogs life has a happy ending as Hank is coming back with the team to Milwaukee to take the place he was destined to. That of the franchise pet.

No one actually knows what kind of dog Hank is, although there are obvious guesses with poodle and terrier mixed breed.

However we know that regardless of what he is, it is who he is that will make Hank into the star of the season.

I'm sure there are already rights being sold and Hollywood producers commissioning scriptwriters across the land to make a heartwarming movie tale of this unusual baseball success story.
