Clint Dempsey slaps opponent in the balls

Clint Dempsey has been seriously out of form in the past few months. But it seems his frustration is spilling over.

The 31 year old has put in a string of poor performances for his club side the Seattle Sounders, the United States national team, and even during his loan spell at Fulham and he is taking out his aggression on unsuspecting opposition players.

In his sides 2-1 loss to Toronto F.C today at CenturyLink Field, the midfielder vented his spleen firstly by kicking a Toronto player who was on the ground and then minutes later slapping another member of the opposition - defender Mark Bloom - in the testicles, which you can see here.

It wasn't all bad on the day for Dempsey though, he netted his first goal in any form since October 27th of last year, but it was only a consolation as his Sounders side could not find an equalizer.

It should've been a day of great relief for the Designated Player, but now he has a possible disciplinary committee meeting to worry about and a potential three match ban on the cards.

Jermain Defoe shone in the game in front of 38,441 disappointed Sounders fans.

The former Tottenham Hotspur striker had two chances all game and he took them both, netting in the 17th and 24th minute announcing his arrival to North America with aplomb.
