Worst XI: Champions League winners (5)

Perhaps this Chelsea title will be seen as one of the most unlikely triumphs yet, as many (non-Chelsea fans, anyway) are prone to forgetting that Roberto di Matteo was at the helm for 'Drogba's Final'.

Another fact that many are often surprised to be reminded of is that Ryan Bertrand started in left midfield that night. Di Matteo was may also have been convinced that a win for the Blues would be unlikely, as he went for the two full-backs option from the off.

Bertrand was tipped by some to be Ashley Cole's successor at Chelsea, but being loaned out to Aston Villa since the return of Jose Mourinho is making that prediction a little less likely.
