Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson is a man that doesn't like to stand still in the off-season, and it takes a motivated individual to not want to kick back and relax once the NFL season is in the books.

Not content with simply winning the Super Bowl with his Seahawks in a dominate 43-8 victory over the Denver Broncos, Wilson has been training with the Texas Rangers with an eye on becoming a dual-sport professional, and he also appeared on the Entourage set.

So what is it that makes Wilson so dedicated in his life to sports and other opportunities? Well that would be God and the religion that the Seahawks QB believes in.

Practically everyday Wilson will wonder his fans with whatever bible quote strikes his fancy, and today's inspirational post certainly got fans inspired.

"Woke up this morning so driven! Blessed to call God my true friend. #NoTime2Sleep," he posted on Twitter Tuesday.

This particular tweet has so far received 546 retweets and 1,283 favorites, with many of his fans took his comments to heart as he continues to provide them daily inspiration.

Wilson's religious story is a slightly more unorthodox one than the normal story of going to church with your family.

For the Seahawks QB, it was a visit from Jesus in his sleep that persuaded him to check out church, something which he has never looked back from since.

Last year he was quoted as saying, “I had a dream that my dad passed away and that Jesus came into the room and he was basically knocking on my door, saying, ‘Hey, you need to find out more about me,’” Wilson said. “So that Sunday morning I ended up going to church and that’s when I got saved.”
