WWE have announced that Daniel Bryan has suffered a serious shoulder injury after last night's events on RAW.

Bryan was attacked by WWE COO, Triple H in the dying moments of the show last night in San Antonio and is now a serious doubt for Wrestlemania next month,

Bryan was put into handcuffs during the attack which is likely to have only exacerbated the injury further.

The WWE website says: "WWE medical sources confirm that, as a result of the COO's attack, Bryan's previous shoulder injury stemming from several matches with several Superstars was severely exasperated, including a dislocation and potential ligament tears"

The site also confirms that Bryan will undergo an MRI exam once the swelling on the shoulder has gone down. The superstar has been released from hospital but it may be several days before the exact nature of the injury, and how much time Bryan will miss is known.

Bryan was set to wrestle with Triple H at Wrestlemania XXX in New Orleans for the vacant third spot in a triple threat WWE World Championship match. However those plans may need to be shelved if Bryan's injury continues to be an issue.
