With the business end of the season fast approaching, what better time to reflect on the Premier League's star performers in 2013/14.

The title race is as open as it has ever been in recent years, with four teams teams - Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City - still vying for that all-important number one spot, and as many as eight sides still looking precariously over their shoulders as the relegation dog fight continues.

In between, the likes of Tottenham, Everton and Manchester United are still fighting for the remaining European places, while clubs like Southampton, Newcastle United, Aston Villa and Stoke City are stuck in no-mans land, with nothing left to play for above or below them.

Soon, the nominees for various end of season accolades will be decided, so to make things a little easier, GiveMeSport has provided a list of the best players per position in the Premier League this season, based on their fantasy football points totals in the fan friendly competition.
