Wrestling legend Mick Foley has described Triple H's attack on Daniel Bryan as brutal.

As reported by wrestlinginc.com, Foley insisted that Triple H reminded the 'Wrestling Universe' just how bad he can be.

With the pair set to go head-to-head at WrestleMania on April 6, the Cerebral Assassin sent out a message to Bryan on Raw this past week.

Foley - who played characters such as Mankind and Dude Love during his wrestling career - also insisted Stephanie McMahon's recent work has shown she can follow in her father's footsteps.

Foley said: "Yes, it was brutal, yes it was tough to watch at certain points - but it served notice to all of those who had forgotten, that Triple H was one of the best bad guys of his generation - and Stephanie, with her recent work on the microphone, has become an absolutely compelling authority figure - as effective as I've ever seen her; seemingly channelling her inner Vince."

The match between Triple H and Bryan will see one of the superstars reach the main event and challenge for the WWE Heavyweight Championship at 'The Grandest Stage of them All'.

The winner will join Randy Orton and Batista in a triple threat match at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. As the build up to WrestleMania continues, wrestling fans will be gearing themselves up for the biggest pay-per-view of the year.
