Arsenal are eying up a bid for Gent teen star Sebastien Locigno as a replacement for Bacary Sagna, according to the Daily Mail.

With Sagna out of contract at the end of the season, Arsenal are preparing for life after their French international.

And the 18-year-old Locigno is the latest in their sights according to the report.

Sagna could leave Arsenal for nothing at the end of the season, and a number of clubs are lining up contract offers for the Frenchman.

Galatasaray are thought to be the frontrunners, as the report claims Sagna held talks with officials from the Turkish giants earlier this month.

They were in London for their recent Champions League tie against Chelsea, and reportedly met Sagna's representatives to discuss a contract.

The report claims Sagna has rejected two offers from Arsenal, but the Gunners will get one final attempt to convince him to stay.

The Emirates Stadium club are preparing an offer for the French international, but it doesn't look like he will sign anything the club puts on the table.

If indeed Sagna does depart, Arsenal will need a replacement - at least to offer competition to Carl Jenkinson.

Sebastien Locigno has appeared for the Belgian national team from every age group from under-15 through to under-19. He has made six league appearances for Gent since his debut last year.
