New Orleans Saints quarterback, Drew Brees is teaming up with TV personality Jimmy Kimmel and the WWE for a global charity auction to benefit Brees' foundation.

A press release from WWE today confirmed the partnership:

"The auction, which launches today...features more than 100 unique, once-in-a-lifetime experiences with WWE Superstars, Divas and Legends, celebrities and athletes."

The Brees Dream Foundation was founded in 2003 and according to the official website it has a mission to: "improve the quality of life for cancer patients, and provide care, education and opportunities for children and families in need."

The prizes in the auction will include visiting Brees at a New Orleans Saints game and meeting Kimmel at a live taping of his show.

Daniel Bryan is one of the WWE personalities involved in the auction and fans can also get the chance to meet the wrestler through the auction.

The partnership comes ahead of the 30th edition of WWE's showpiece event, Wrestlemania which this year will take place at the Mercedes SuperDome in New Orleans.

In addition to putting his name to the foundation, Brees has also been very active within New Orleans off the field helping with the cleanup after Hurricane Katrina and facing an anti-bullying campaign in 2010.
