Darren Sharper will not be released on bail, after an Los Angeles court judge ruled that he should remain in jail.
Sharper is currently being held on suspicion for sexual assault and drug offences in Los Angeles, Arizona, Louisiana, Nevada and Florida.
However he is due to be moved to Arizona shortly to face trial there but the LA courts wnat to try him first.
The case is currently being pushed through the court as quickly as possible so that he can be tried before they have to transfer him to the jurisdiction of Arizona.
Sharper who played in Green Bay, Minnesota and for the New Orleans Saints was recently released from his job as a pundit for NFL Network due to the proceedings.
All of the allegations stem from different assaults throughout last year, 2013, and across the county. His prosecutors had tried to change his current circumstances to him being under house arrest instead of in jail, as the Arizona courts had said they were not going to extradite him to their state yet.
But this was rejected as officials claimed that extradition proceedings were already going ahead.
