Left-wing: Cristiano Ronaldo | Portugal (Real Madrid)

Football News

Nobody expects Portugal to win the 2014 World Cup finals, but if they go close then they will have Cristiano Ronaldo to thank.

The two-time Ballon d’Or winner is at the peak of his powers and, at the age of 29, this could be his last chance to inspire his country to their first ever World Cup title.

Ronaldo is capable is scoring against any team, any defence and any goalkeeper. Even though everyone on the planet knows his strengths and weaknesses (does he have any?), stopping this goalscoring machine is much easier said than done.

The 2014 World Cup Golden Boot could be added to Ronaldo’s CR7 museum in Madeira.
