Floyd Mayweather shows off ‘Money Walk’ on Instagram

You could be forgiven for thinking that WBC welterweight champions Floyd Mayweather was trying to prove a point ahead of his fight with Marcos Maidana in Las Vegas on May 3.

Or maybe the pound-for-pound king is simply addicted to posting videos of himself on Instagram - sort of like a ’Selfie’ only slightly different.

The 37-year-old recently posted a video of himself jumping rope - that was impressive - and a video showing him using the punchbag at 4am in the morning which, of course, shows his admirable professionalism and dedication to his sport. But earlier today he posted a video showing himself performing the ‘Money Walk’.

Not sure what the ‘Money Walk’ is? Well, click play on the video at the top of the page and prepare to be educated. Mayweather, wearing a t-shirt bearing the modest slogan “The Best Ever” shows off his impressive upper-body strength, while ‘walking’ in mid-air.

“If Michael Jackson had the moon walk & Michael Jordan had the air walk, it's only right for Mayweather to have the "money walk”,” he wrote as the video’s caption.

While Mayweather might not be everyone’s cup of tea - the money references do become a little tiresome after a while, don’t they? - you have to admire his commitment to making sure he enters that ring at the MGM Grand in a few weeks time in top physical condition.
