Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud isn't looking for a move away from north London, according to his agent.

As reported by Sky Sports, Giroud's agent Michael Manuello has insisted that the striker will meet with the Arsenal hierarchy at the end of the season to discuss a new contract.

The French international has had a decent campaign with the Gunners, having struck 12 league goals so far and Manuello has revealed that there's no truth in rumours linking the striker with a move to the Serie A.

Speaking to, Manuello said: "The rumours about Olivier are not surprising given that he is having a great season.

"I read about Juventus and Roma, but the truth is that there has been no contact with these clubs or with other ones.

"Juve were interested, it is true, but that was before he moved to Arsenal.

"He's very settled in London and the club is happy with him. I think there is no possibility he might change club.

"At the end of the season we will meet with the Gunners to discuss a contract extension."

However, Giroud's immediate attention will turn to tonight's clash with Swansea City at the Emirates.

Giroud is in the starting XI that's currently gearing up to take on the Swans and Arsenal will be desperate to secure all three points, as they look to maintain their title challenge.

The Gunners will be looking to bounce back from their humiliating 6-0 defeat to Chelsea this past weekend and Giroud will be hoping to get on the scoresheet this evening.
