Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross has backed player Mike Pouncey, despite the bullying accusations and incidents of last season.
The bullying that Pouncey was implicated in with the Ted Wells report ravaged the organization last year and is the only player in that report that has stayed on the team.
Ross however has also stated that the scandal rocked the team and that he will be fully cooperating with the NFL.
He also said that this kind of incident was bound to be revealed somewhere in the NFL due to "today's culture."
However, Pouncey's credentials as a player are not under any doubt, according to Ross. He said that Pouncey is: "Certainly, an excellent football player. I think he will turn out to be one of the real leaders on our team."
Although if there is any punishment from the NFL in regards to Mike Pouncey, Ross will fully cooperate with whatever action they take in that case and future ones.
During the press conference, he also gave his condolences on the passing of Bills owner Ralph Wilson and also spoke about the potential renovation plans for the Sun Life stadium which he will finance
