LA Lakers star and head coach aren't talking to each other

LA Laker may be winning at time of writing this, but their PR department certainly isn't thanks to Chris Kaman.

The 24-year-old Kaman found out he was starting tonight by looking at the lineups. His coach Mike D'Antoni didn't tell him.

It gets worse, Lakers fans. D'Antoni hasn't actually spoken to him in three weeks. However Kaman was reportedly pulled at half time for a sore foot.

The official stance from the Lakers to this is that they are allowing the younger talent to have a go now that the playoffs are out of the picture.

However the point of doing this, other than injuries and fall outs, seems particularly moot.

Coach D'Antoni is very obviously on borrowed time and with only twelve games left, its likely he will see out the season.

The advantages in the draft picks if their current form holds would be negated possibly by the introduction of a new coach.

But in a year where everything that can go wrong, has gone wrong for the Lakers, they'll be celebrating the sure to be vacant head coach position very soon.
