David Moyes only fit for ‘Sunderland or Newcastle’

It’s difficult to pinpoint the nadir of the reign of David Moyes as Manchester United manager given the lows he has endured in his brief tenure so far. The defeat to Liverpool prompted Moyes to plunge new depths, while the double derby humbling to Manchester City has been rather hard to digest.

Is Moyes now as low as he can get following a second thrashing by City? Well, perhaps so, and particularly after Moyes was publicly castigated by an eloquent six-year-old Manchester United fan, who has completely lost faith in his club’s manager.

FullTimeDEVILS were grabbing interviews with Manchester United supporters outside Old Trafford after the 3-0 defeat to City on Tuesday evening, and gave a young lad named William a platform to voice his views about the state of the club.

And he didn’t hold back, as he vented his frustration at Moyes, lambasted him for not injecting more pace into his Manchester United side and lamented the fact that Shinji Kagawa was not retained in the staring line-up following the win at West Ham.

But, most damning of all, was the assertion that Moyes is not fit to manage Manchester United, but only suitable for the likes of Sunderland and Newcastle.
