Chicago Bulls star announces Dream Team, includes shock name

Joakim Noah of the Chicago Bulls was asked to name his all-time Dream Team on apparently.

The all-star cast of names started exactly as you'd expect with fairly obvious 'Mount Rushmore' type players named to the line up.

And then the exuberant center made his last pick straight out of the leftest of left fields imaginable.

According to Adam Figman of SLAM magazine, Noah named Michael Jordan, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Magic Johnson and Dirk Nowitzki to his all-star cast of wonderman of basketball.

The fifth pick on that list beggars belief, Minnesota Timberwolves small forward Corey Brewer.

Yep, actual Corey Brewer. The same Brewer that since being taken with the seventh pick in the 2007 NBA Draft has travelled from Minnesota to Dallas to Denver, then back to the T'Wolves.

Brewer has averaged 9.5 points a game across his seven year career and has absolutely zero all-star call ups or All-Pro nominations to show for it. Add in his average of 1.5 assists and 2.9 rebounds and you wonder why he's even a starter for Minnesota at all, let alone in the best of all time.

But i guess that's just Noah picking his college teammate from Florida. There's never a lot of reasoning behind what the precocious center does, his draft day attire being main offender.
