In recent times we have seen 'planking', 'Hadoukening', and of course 'Tebowing' become popular amongst social media users.

And now the San Antonio Spurs are trying to get on the bandwaggon with their own unique pose...Frogging.

After securing their playoff spot this week, Manu Ginobili, Tiago Splitter Boris Diaw and Patty Mills took to Twitter today to unleash the new fad on the world.

All four players posted individual pictures of them in Denver in the pose seen above, and I think the best we can say about it is that it is a little bizarre.

They did seem to get some people on the streets of Denver involved though, with several members of the public #frogging in Australian point guard Patrick Mills' picture.

But when you have just won 15 straight games and sit atop the Western Conference I suppose you are allowed to do what you want.

So there we have it, apparently we are all going to be #frogging from now on.
