9. Cristiano Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo will end his career as one of the greatest players of all time, which is why it was impossible to omit the Portuguese superstar from this list of all-time Premier League greats, despite the fact he only spent six years with Manchester United.

During those six years, however, Ronaldo lit up Old Trafford - and other grounds up and down England - on a weekly basis. He went from a scrawny, inconsistent teenager with immense talent to a goalscoring machine, hence why Manchester United received £80m from Real Madrid for his services in 2009.

Ronaldo won three Premier League titles during his time in England, and picked picked up the 2008 Ballon d’Or after helping Manchester United win the Champions League for the third time in their history.
