Dennis Rodman plays legends game in mohawk wig and make-up

As a character and a person, it is certainly fair to suggest that NBA legend Dennis Rodman has never bowed to expectation or been afraid to express himself in whichever way he sees fit.

That ultimately never truly stopped him from an enjoying an excellent career in the league, either.

Indeed, as a five-time champion and seven-time rebounding leader, it would have been a huge surprise not to see the former Detroit Pistons and Chicago Bulls icon eventually wind up in the Hall of Fame (he was inducted in 2011).

And while Rodman was always an entertaining character in his playing days, retirement does not appear to have slowed him down a jot.

After all the headlines and fall-out that surrounded his recent trips to North Korea, 52-year-old Rodman again caught the eye in a recent legends game in Argentina by gracing the court in a rather interesting get-up.

While this is sure to stoke up controversy and get people talking, frankly, if it feels comfortable, who the hell cares? After all, these legends tour games are hardly meant to be taken too seriously.

See Rodman taking to the court in a mohawk wig and make-up above - with thanks to CBS Sports for bringing it to our attention.
