For the first time ever, the LSU Tigers will come up against the UCLA Bruins on the gridiron after the two school agreed a home-and-home series today.
Unfortunately for fans the first game in the series won't take place until 2021 - but they do say good things come to those who wait.
And it should be more than worth it, with the first meeting set for an historic Rose Bowl on Sept. 4, 2021 in Pasedena.
The Bruins will then head to Baton Rouge, and Tiger Stadium, on August 31. 2024.
LSU also announced a back-to-back series with Arizona State today, with two games set for 2022 and 2023 and school Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics Joe Alleva is happy with his day's work:"It's our goal to play as an attractive non-conference schedule as possible.
"Getting teams to agree to home-and-home series is very difficult but we will continue to make every attempt to bring a BCS-conference caliber opponent to Tiger Stadium."
As for the here and now, LSU begin their 2014 schedule on the road to Wisconsin, with the game scheduled for Houston.
