Tottenham and Manchester United could battle it out in the summer to try and lure Carlo Ancelotti back to the Premier League.

The Premier League duo could both choose to dispense of the services of Tim Sherwood and David Moyes at the end of the season.

And the Daily Mail suggest Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti is attracting interest from both Tottenham and Manchester United.

The Italian tactician is under extreme pressure to win either the Premier League or the Champions League this season.

Real Madrid are currently behind arch-rivals Atletico Madrid and Barcelona in the La Liga title race, which has raised doubts over Ancelotti's long-term future at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Ancelotti will not be short of potential suitors if he was to leave Real Madrid - with Tottenham and Manchester United among the clubs likely to be sniffing around the 54-year-old.

Both sides had been linked with making a move for current Dutch national team boss Louis van Gaal, however it appears both sides have switched their attention to the Italian tactician.
