Chelsea star Andre Schurrle is currently comfortably beating Arsenal compatriots Lukas Podolski, Mesut Ozil and Per Mertesacker in a prestigious German football vote, designed to heap praise on ambassadors playing outside of their home nation.
The Deutscher Fussball Botschafter pick an 11-person shortlist for the prize each year, with Schurrle, Ozil, Mertesacker and Podolski featuring alongside Miroslav Klose and Kevin Kuranyi in this season's selection.
Arsenal's German contingent have earned cult status at the Emirates, but in this public vote at least Schurrle is the favoured choice by a country mile.
Schurrle's first season at Stamford Bridge has so far been enough to take a whopping 67% of the vote, with Arsenal defender Mertesacker a distant second on just 10%.
Ozil's debut campaign in North London has been viewed dimly, with only 1% of the public picking the midfield maestro as the country's leading football ambassador abroad.
Fans from any nation can register their vote by clicking here, with the poll closing on April 20th, although it would take a massive swing for anything other than a Schurrle victory.
