The MLS season started with a bang last month packed full of excitement and goals, with an array of individual performances lighting up the league.

But which player performed to highest level in the month of March?

Well, it's time for the fans to decide just that, as the voting for the MLS Player of the Month for March opened up today.

Five players have been shortlisted for fans to choose from. Those include Michael Bradley (Toronto FC), Will Bruin (Houston Dynamos), Mauro Diaz (FC Dallas), Federico Higuain (Columbus Crew) and Nick Rimando (Real Salt Lake).

Bradley has had a great start to the season for Toronto. The midfielder has been a constant source of creativity, and the chances he's created have helped his side make a decent start to the MLS season.

Bruin has scored three goals for Houston Dynamo in an impressive start to the season, which could land him the March Player of the Month award.
