Los Angeles Dodgers Yasiel Puig is having another bad day at the office today after he turned up to the his team's latest game Friday evening.

The Dodgers subsequently benched Puig for their game against the San Francisco Giants as he added to his continuing misdemeanours that threaten to derail his career.

MLB insiders Bill Plunkett and Dylan Hernandez explained

"Yasiel Puig arrived late. Was not on the field for most off the workout and has been pulled from #Dodgers lineup. Kemp is in," said Plunkett.

"I'm told Puig thought he was supposed to be here by 10. Stretch was at 9:40," said Hernandez.

Puig is probably the most polarizing in the MLB right now, and he grabs as many headlines for infamous reasons than he does for his amazing plays.

Whether it's homerun antics, speeding violation or clubhouse controversies, Puig has done it all.

Dodgers manager Don Mattingly publicly criticized the player after making excuses after making terrible plays.

Most think he's either a player with passion or just simply immature, and this latest incident is likely to support the people who dislike him.
