Los Angeles Lakers are ready to give Steve Nash his last game of the season because of how little they have to play for this season.

Nash has had plenty of injuries this season after suffering issues with his knees. The Lakers will decide to rest the legendary point guard after tonight's game against Dallas.

He is still struggling to recover from a variety of injuries and has clearly been hampered when on the court this season.

With the Lakers having little to play for and his injuries continuing to derail him, Nash understandably decided he should cut his season short.

The Lakers haven’t announced what they plan to do with Nash next season, though it's thought that they will keep him on the roster as to avoid paying him over the course of three years by using the stretch provision.

Nash’s final game of the 2013-14 season will come against his former Dallas Mavericks tonight.
