Arsenal are set for talks with Rubin Kazan over a move for Sardar Azmoun next week, according to The Express

The 19-year-old, who has been dubbed the 'Iranian Messi', has attracted interest from some of Europe's elite clubs in recent time, and it appears that Arsenal will be rivalled by Italian giants AC Milan for the player's signature.

The highly rated youngster has impressed in this campaign, and it appears that Rubin are ready to let him depart the club this summer.

If reports are to be believed, the Russian outfit have placed a £2 million tag on the starlet, as he looks set for a Premier League or Serie A switch.

Arsenal will be hoping to secure the player's signature as they target long term success. However, the Gunners' immediate attention will turn to their crunch clash with Everton this weekend.

Arsene Wenger's side will be desperate to secure all three points at Goodison Park as they look to secure a place in next year's Champions League.

Arsenal fans will then be gearing themselves up for a semi-final trip to Wembley as the north London outfit look to finally end their trophy drought.
