The New Orleans Saints have been tipped to target Missouri defensive end Kony Ealy when the NFL draft rolls around in May.

The Saints have had a hectic free agency period, with a number of players coming and going.

Now with the draft looming, talk has turned to who each of the NFL franchises could pick when the action gets underway on May 8.

The Saints have the 27th overall pick, and according to Larry Packer of the Times Picayune they could well be after Ealy when their turn comes around.

The 22-year-old posted impressive figures at the NFL Scouting Combine, completing the 40-yard dash in 4.92 and hitting 22 reps on the 225 bench press.

Holder believes that the Saints will target an edge rusher to bolster their options in that part of the field - while a wide receiver could also be an option.

They may face competition for the defensive end - with two CBSSports experts picking out the Arizona Cardinals as his most likely destination.

The 2014 NFL draft will take place between May 8-10 in New York.
