Chris Johnson may be late to free agency, but he will be one of the most watched players on the market.
However that hasn't seen teams rushing to get him through their doors just yet.
CJ2K, released by the Tennessee Titans Monday, tweeted earlier that he was at the airport, leading everybody to leap to conclusions as to where he was heading.
However NFL's Ian Rapoport confirmed that he was in fact heading nowhere in regards to a team and that him being at the airport was purely coincidental and not related to any NFL franchises.
What is interesting is whether this is the confidence of the 28-year-old RB in being able to generate some noise and interest in his services.
Since his stand out season of rushing for 2,006 yards in 2009, he has failed to get to grips with adapting defences and suffered from an ailing offence with the Titans.
So far there has been no expressed interest in the NFL record holder and after losing out on $8 million by being cut, it's hard to see anybody making that kind of room in their salary cap at this late stage of free agency.
