Magic Johnson predicts the NBA playoffs

Football News

Magic Johnson had plenty of experience with the NBA playoffs during his illustrious playing career.

The eccentric star made 190 appearances in the post season with the LA Lakers, so when he has his say on the playoffs it is probably wise to listen.

And today Johnson took to Twitter to predict which teams would make it to their respective conference finals.

And it seems Magic is putting his faith in the seeding system.

In the East Johnson went for a conference final between the Miami Heat and the Indiana Pacers - by far the most two accomplished sides in the East.

Meanwhile out West, the former Lakers man again went with form, predicting a match up between the San Antonio Spurs and Oklahoma City Thunder.

...Hardly the most radical of choices by the big man.

But in fairness, they remain the most likely outcomes as the playoff picture begins to stabalize and the regular season draw to a close.

Who he predicts to make it through to the NBA final, and win it all, is anyone's guess but neither the Miami Heat or Indiana Pacers are setting the world alight in the East right now.
