Arsenal, Liverpool and Everton are getting ready for a possible summer tussle over highly-rated defender Darryl Janmaat and were present as he scored a screamer against PSV Eindhoven in the Eredivisie at the weekend.

According to De Telegraaf, all three of Arsene Wenger, Brendan Rodgers and Roberto Martinez sent scouts to look over the 24-year-old as Feyenoord took on PSV. They would have been impressed with what they saw as Janmaat doubled his side's lead with 15 minutes to go with a screamer.

Arsenal could be on the lookout for a new right-back soon as Bacary Sagna's contract expires come the end of the season and no agreement over an extension has been forthcoming. De Telegraaf claims Janmaat has told Feyenoord he will also not be signing a new deal and expects a transfer to happen this summer.

"Last week I gave the club my answer and now we'll have to wait and see. I can only do my best and wait on any developments " he said.

Liverpool have had fitness issues at full-back with Jose Enrique being ruled out of much of the season, though the emergence of youngster Jon Flanagan has been one positive. Aly Cissokho's loan move has not been impressive enough and looks unlikely to secure a permanent move.

Meanwhile, Everton have been served well at right-back by Seamus Coleman this season, with the Irishman becoming one of the leading full-backs in the Premier League. However, both Manchester United and Arsenal have been linked with a move for him and Janmaat could be the ideal replacement.
